    The invention relates to a kit for creating or expanding a gastro-food service. Such gastro-food dispensers are used in particular in professional large kitchens, for example in hotels, restaurants or canteens. If an existing gastro-food service is to be expanded, it can be, for example, a (possibly mobile) buffet or a (possibly mobile) buffet kitchen, in particular a front-cooking buffet kitchen. If it is a question of creating a new gastro-food service, all forms of food service can be considered. In this context, however, it is preferred that the newly created gastro-food service is suitable to be equipped with existing components and devices, whereby in the gastro area, of course, components in GN format or components adapted to the GN format come into consideration .
    So far it has been customary to deliver gastro-food editions or extensions for gastro-food editions more or less fully assembled to the customer, which could be both custom-made items and standard elements.
    Proceeding from this, the invention is based on the object of providing a more flexible and more cost-effective variant for creating or expanding a gastro-food service.
    According to the invention this is achieved with a kit for creating or expanding a gastro-food service, the kit can be packaged flat and has a first plate, a second plate, a first rod and fastening means for attaching the at least one rod to the first plates and on of the second plate, and wherein, in the assembled state of the kit, the length of the at least one rod defines the distance between the first plate and the second plate. Because the kit can and should be packed flat when not assembled, the transport costs can be significantly reduced compared to more or less fully assembled elements. By using one, but preferably several rods in connection with at least two, but preferably more than two plates, the total weight can be reduced, for example, in comparison to gastro-food dispensers consisting exclusively of plates, which also has a favorable effect on costs. In addition, an attractive appearance can be achieved in this way and it is possible for the end customer to order elements adapted to his special requirements, whereby the rods and plates can then be made to measure and delivered as a kit. It is strongly preferred that the kit includes only panels, rods and associated fasteners.
    In order to create a kind of base, it will usually be advantageous that the first plate and the second plate are arranged in parallel in the assembled state of the kit. It can be provided in particular that the first plate and the second plate are of the same size, although this does not necessarily have to be the case, of course.
    According to a preferred embodiment of the invention it is provided that in the assembled state of the kit, the first rod forms a support for a third plate, the third plate is arranged perpendicular to the first plate and to the second plate and forms a horizontal storage surface . In this way, not only can the distance between the first plate and the second plate be determined by the at least one rod, but it is also possible to make the third plate, which is used as a storage surface, comparatively thin because the third plate will sag is avoided by resting on the first pole. This also enables both material and transport costs to be reduced.
    In preferred embodiments, it is also provided in this context that in the assembled state of the kit, the distance of the at least one rod from both an edge of the first plate and an edge of the second plate at least approximately corresponds to the thickness of the third plate. This makes it possible to align the upper edges of the first plate and the second plate with the surface of the third plate forming the horizontal storage area.
    With regard to the stability of the overall structure, there are advantages if it is further provided that in the assembled state of the kit, a fourth plate is arranged perpendicular to the first plate, perpendicular to the second plate and perpendicular to the third plate.
    The same applies to the case that in the assembled state of the kit, a second rod is arranged parallel to the first rod. If the second rod is also arranged between the first plate and the second plate and the structure is rectangular overall, the length of the second rod will generally correspond to the length of the first rod.
    In preferred embodiments of the kit according to the invention it is provided that the fastening means comprise at least a first hole in the first plate and a second hole in the second plate, which in the assembled state of the kit run parallel to the first rod. The bores can either be through bores or blind bores, depending on the design of the respective fastening means.
    In particular in the context explained above, it can be advantageous that the fastening means comprise two threaded sections which are provided on the end sections of the first rod.
    In a particularly preferred variant it is provided that the fastening means comprise first coupling elements which are provided on the end portions of the first rod, that the fastening means comprise second coupling elements, one of which is assigned to the first plate and one of the second plate, and that the first coupling elements interact in the assembled state of the kit with the second coupling elements in the manner of a bayonet lock. In this way, for example, solutions can be made available in which the attachment can be made without additional tools and, if necessary, can also be released again.
    Without being limited thereto, it can be provided in an advantageous manner that at least the first plate and the second plate consist of a wood or wood composite material, and that at least the first rod consists of a metal material. Every gastro-food service and every gastro-food-serving extension that was produced on the basis of the kit according to the invention falls within the scope of protection of the associated claims.
    The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings, in which preferred embodiments are shown. The figures show: FIG. 1 a first embodiment of the kit according to the invention in the assembled state, whereby the gastro food service created in this case can be used both separately and in conjunction with a buffet kitchen; and FIG. 2 shows a second embodiment of the kit according to the invention in the assembled state, whereby the gastro-food service created in this case can also be used both separately and in conjunction with a buffet kitchen.
    According to the illustration of Figure 1, a first plate 10 and a second plate 12 is connected in their upper region by a first rod 28 such that the distance between the first plate 10 and the second plate 12, which is arranged parallel to it and of the same size, is defined by the first rod 28 will. The first rod 28 is arranged at a distance from both the upper edge of the first plate 10 and the upper edge of the second plate 12, this distance corresponding approximately to the thickness of a third plate 14, which rests on the first rod 28, around a horizontal one To form storage space. In this as well as in all other cases and embodiments of the invention, the first rod 28 (or any other rod) can be made in one or more parts, with threads for connecting the rod parts, for example, being provided in the case of one or more multi-part rods. In its rear area opposite the first rod 28, the third plate 14 rests on a fourth plate 16, which can be screwed, for example, between the first plate 10 and the second plate 12, and which runs both perpendicular to the first plate 10 and also to the second plate 12 and to the third plate 14 . A fifth plate 18 is provided parallel to the third plate 14, which, for example, can also be screwed to the first plate 10 and the second plate 12 (and possibly also to the third plate 16), or which can rest on suitable shelf supports. In the case shown, the fifth plate 18 forms a compartment in which, for example, dining trays and / or crockery boxes can be accommodated. In addition, a second rod 30 is provided between the first plate 10 and the second plate 12, in their lower region, which stabilizes the lower region of the arrangement. In a simple case, the first plate 10 and the second plate 12 can have four through bores through which screws are passed which engage in internal threads provided in the end portions of the first rod 28 and the second rod 30. However, it is preferred that the fastening means comprise first coupling elements which are provided at the end portions of the first rod 28 and the second rod 30 and that the fastening means comprise second coupling elements, two of which are associated with the first plate 10 and the second plate 12, so that the first Coupling elements can interact in the assembled state of the kit with the second coupling elements in the manner of bayonet locks.
    Figure 2 shows a second embodiment of the kit according to the invention in the assembled state, wherein the gastro-food service created in this case can be used both separately and in connection with a buffet kitchen. In this case, the kit comprises a first panel 20, a second panel 22, a third panel 24 and a fourth panel 26. Furthermore, a first rod 32 and a second rod 34 are provided. Apart from the fact that the gastro-food serving extension is much narrower than the arrangement of FIG. 1 and that there is no fifth plate to create a compartment, the structure corresponds to the structure shown in FIG. 1, reference being made to the associated description.
